'Ready Campus' Training Set

College Misericordia President Michael MacDowell announced this Spring that the college would spearhead the "Ready Campus" project, a college community-level preparedness-training module for the effects of terrorism and natural disasters. The project, which is being funded by the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA), via the federal Department of Homeland Security, will initiate the first in a series of regional workshops, the first of which will be held at College Misericordia on Friday, September 30. College administrators from across northeast Pennsylvania have be-gun registering for the workshop that will ready their respective campuses to assume their roles in their communities in a time of need.
